Wafer Universe now offers adapter carriers from silicon. This product group enables the processing of wafers with various diameters on the same tool. The carrier diameter fits to your processing equipment and allows the processing of another different wafer diameter without the need of expensive equipment change or tool implementation.
The additional pocket of these adapter carriers fits to the diameter of the device wafer. Various carrier diameters adapt to different device wafer diameters. All carriers are available off the shelf with a lead time of less than one week. See our new adapter carrier:
