Who is Wafer Universe?
Wafer Universe is a brand of Plan Optik AG. Plan Optik AG is the manufacturer of all our products and located in Germany.
Is it possible to manufacture a wafer according to special requirements?
Wafer Universe offers only stock products which can’t be modified. But Plan Optik AG can manufacture wafers according to your specific requirements e.g. patterned wafers or different size, dimension, thickness or material. Just contact our engineers via firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for a quotation.
Who can order from our web shop?
Actually only business customers with a valid VAT number can order (B2B).
Why isn’t it possible to use the web shop in my country?
Currently the web shop is only available for European customers. You can also order via email from every other country. Just get in contact with us via email@example.com
What is the typical lead time for items available from stock?
In most cases we will ship your order within 1-2 working days.
What is the lead time if my requested product is out of stock?
Typical lead time for back orders is about 6-8 weeks.
Why do I have to register before being able to see details?
Due to legal reasons we need to verify every new customer.
What happens to my order if stock level is not sufficient?
If all ordered items are on back order you will receive an order confirmation with estimated delivery date. If there is a mixture of immediately available and back order items in the same order, we will ship the available item immediately and the back order item when available. Shipping cost will be charged per shipment.
What is the maximum quantity per item?
The maximum order qty per items ordered from our web shop is 200 pcs. If you need more, please ask for a quote (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Which payment terms can I choose?
Up to 5000 EUR order volume you can either pay via invoice within 30 days after shipment or by direct bank transfer. At an order volume above 5000 EUR you can pay by direct bank transfer only.
Where can I find payment details for direct bank transfer?
Once you completed your order you will receive an order confirmation and invoice via email. The payment details with bank information is mentioned in the invoice.
What shall I do if there is an issue with my order process?
